Winter Robin Beanie - Free Pattern
The Christmas adverts are out, its 3 days until advent and in a makers world Christmas is well and truly on the way but not so far in that you don't have the time to knock up a few of these beauts. Please enjoy this free pattern as a thank-you for all your love and support - it is so appreciated.
The Winter Robin Beanie came to mind and to fruition over one weekend last winter. I love the knit effect of the central double crochet (central single in the US and sometimes called the waistcoat stitch) and how lining the stitches up on top of each other means you can get these beautiful, clear images. A teeny tiny
word of warning though – I find that the central double crochet makes me crochet quite tight so please-please-please keep checking your gauge, this hat ended up very snug on one occasion!
To get this free pattern you can click through here to Love Crafts for a nice neat download! On the Love Craft website we have also added all of the yarn needed for your beanie in one easy click! The pattern is also available on my Ravelry page if you would prefer.
I’m sure you are all aware of this now but…, the Love Crafts links are affiliate links, which means I make a small commission if you purchase something through it. This is at no extra cost to you but really helps me to keep the website running and the free patterns coming. As a small business I really value your support.
Please feel free to sell items made with this pattern. If you do please credit me as the original designer (@penniesfromdevon). Please don’t duplicate or share this pattern. Please share your makes with the hashtag #winterrobinbeanie, #penniesfromdevon or upload them to Ravelry projects, I’d love to see them.
I hope this pattern brings you as much joy as it did me. Thanks, and squishy yarny hugs, Pennie xxx
